Monday-Friday 7:30 am-6 pm, Saturday 9 am-2 pm
Communication - initiation, appropriate communication with peers and adults, asking for help, expressing needs, and advocating oneself.
Play skills - sharing, taking turns, initiating play, and appropriate play.
Emotional regulation - recognizing emotions, and how to use tools to support those emotions.
Cooperation - following directions, following a schedule, working with others, and leadership.
Task initiation/executive functioning - following a schedule, time management, recalling Information, and taking breaks.
Consulting Services: Ages 3-10
School observations
Conduct on-site classroom observations to better understand a child’s social, emotional, and behavioral functioning in the school environment.
Provide objective feedback and actionable strategies to support success across settings.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote consistent approaches to behavior and learning.
Identify environmental or sensory factors that may impact focus, participation, or regulation.
Offer follow-up consultation and written summaries with tailored recommendations for home and school implementation.
IEP Advocacy
Help families understand their rights and the IEP process so they can participate with confidence.
Support parents in communicating their child’s strengths, needs, and goals clearly and effectively.
Collaborate with school teams to ensure accommodations and supports reflect the child’s unique learning profile.
Encourage a solution-focused and respectful dialogue between families and educators.
Empower parents to follow up and monitor progress, ensuring the IEP is implemented consistently and meaningfully.
Parent Training
Supporting your child’s emotional regulation and coping skills
Building independence and structure through routines and visuals
Using positive communication to strengthen connection and cooperation
Encouraging flexible thinking and problem-solving at home

Social Skills Class Policies:
1. Registration & Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of registration unless a payment plan has been approved in advance.
Spaces are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
A $25 late fee will be applied to any balance not received within 7 business days of the due date.
Friendship Formulas does not accept insurance.
2. Attendance & Absences
Regular attendance helps children build consistency and social connections.
If your child will be absent, please notify us via email or text as soon as possible.
Refunds or credits are not issued for missed classes unless the class is canceled by Friendship Formulas.
3. Behavior & Participation
Our programs promote kindness, respect, and cooperation.
If a child’s behavior consistently disrupts the learning environment, we will communicate with families to develop a supportive plan.
In rare cases, if behaviors pose safety concerns or are unmanageable within the group setting, Friendship Formulas reserves the right to discontinue participation.
4. Health & Safety
Children showing signs of illness (fever, vomiting, contagious infection, etc.) should remain home until symptom-free for 24 hours.
If a child becomes ill during class, we will contact the parent or guardian for immediate pick-up.
Friendship Formulas follows all state and local health guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
If a class is canceled by Friendship Formulas, families will receive a credit toward a future class.
Withdrawals requested at least 7 days before the start date will receive a refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
No refunds will be issued after a session begins.
6. Communication
We value open and consistent communication with families.
Important updates and reminders will be sent via email or text.
Please ensure your contact information is up to date to avoid missing time-sensitive information.
7. Media & Photography
Photos or videos may be taken during classes and events for educational or promotional purposes.
Families may opt out of media use by notifying us in writing before the start of the session.
8. Inclusivity & Accessibility
Friendship Formulas welcomes all children and strives to provide an inclusive, supportive environment.
Please share any information about your child’s strengths, needs, or accommodations prior to the start of class so we can help them succeed.
9. Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency, staff will contact parents immediately and follow all safety protocols.
For serious emergencies, 911 will be called first, followed by the parent/guardian.

Registration & Payment
Full payment is due at the time of registration to reserve your child’s spot.
Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
We do not accept insurance.
Refund Policy
If you withdraw your child at least 7 days before the camp start date, you are entitled to a full refund.
Withdrawals made less than 7 days before the camp start date are not eligible for a refund.
No refunds or credits will be issued for missed days or early departures once camp begins.
If Friendship Formulas cancels a camp session, families will receive a full refund or credit toward a future program.
Attendance & Participation
Campers are expected to participate in group activities and follow staff directions to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.
If a camper’s behavior interferes with the experience or safety of others, staff will work with families to find a supportive solution.
Friendship Formulas reserves the right to dismiss a camper if behaviors pose safety concerns or significantly disrupt the program.
